About

2000 Years of Existence
This temple is two thousand years old. Generally, in all temples – as far as the Navagrahas are concerned – each planet faces a different direction. But in the Vaitheeswaran temple, all the planets stand in the same order. This is a speciality that cannot be found in any other temple.
It is believed that the Vaitheeswaran Temple Navagrahas cure the diseases and ailments of the devotees by bowing to the command of the Lord. Also, it stands for Mars. Therefore, this temple is considered to be special for getting rid of health and marriage obstacles.
